Built around the TANDBERG 6000 MXP codec, the TANDBERG Maestro MXP brings portability to your video meeting whilst utilising your existing plasma or LCD displays and data projectors.

If you already have well equipped meeting rooms and want to add video conferencing without the need for major refit, then the TANDBERG MAESTRO MXP is ideal for you.

Simply move the Maestro into your meeting room and position it beside your existing plasma or projector screen. The Maestro has its own in built camera, which will then face your participants.

Once you have finished your video meeting, the Maestro can be easily moved to your other meeting rooms.

The TANDBERG Maestro MXP brings you all that is best in video conferencing. It is capable of conferencing at up to 4Mb over IP and up to 2Mb over ISDN. With its on board MS, the TANDBERG Maestro MXP can initiate a multi-site call to 5 other video sites and 5 other audio sites, on ISDN or IP, or a combination of both.

So that you can easily connect your laptop and bring your presentation into your video meeting, Natural Presenter Pack is also included as standard.

A codec is a piece of hardware or software that compresses and decompresses digital audio and/or video, ready for transmission.
High Definition is the newest set of standards for high quality video conferencing. High Definition standards have been defined by the ATSC (Advanced Television Systems Committee) as picture resolutions of 720p and 1080i/1080p. High Definition has a refresh rate of 24,25,30,50, 60 frames per second and a resolution image of 1280x720 pixels or 1920x1080 pixels. The higher number of pixels translates into sharper and clearer pictures. The higher refresh rate results in less flickering to the human eye. High Definition uses the progressive scan format rather than interlacing, treating the entire video image as one frame and does not suffer from jagged edges in the picture.
