Rutherford Appleton Laboratory in Oxfordshire is owned and operated by the Science & Technology Facilities Council (STFC) and is one of Europe's largest multidisciplinary research organisations supporting scientists and engineers worldwide. 

RAL calculated that every new video conferencing facility saved them £400k in travel costs.
